Royal Canadian Mint

The Royal Canadian Mint (English, RCM), also known as the Monnaie royale canadienne (French, MRC) due to the bilingualism of the Canadian government, is the Canadian mint founded on January 2, 1908 and based in Ottawa. The Mint was founded in 1908 as a branch of the British Royal Mint and produces commemorative coins as well as silver and gold coins, including the well-known Maple Leaf coin. According to the company, it produces 15 million coins every working day.
