China Gold Coin Inc

China Gold Coin Incorporation (CGCI) is a Shenzhen-based company under the direct supervision of the Central Bank of the People's Republic of China. CGCI was founded in 1987 for the sole purpose of designing, producing and marketing Chinese commemorative and investment coins in the four precious metal types. The panda bear, a protected species, was chosen as the main motif. In addition, China Gold Coin Inc. is responsible for planning and coordinating the domestic demand for investment metals in consultation with the central bank. The pandas appear every year with a new motif in gold and silver.
