Limit OrderGold has been a common metal for making coins in Italy since Roman times. No matter how extravagant the respective reign was, gold could not simply be multiplied; even then, gold coins were valued by the general population as a store of value.
Italian lire gold coins were once minted in such large quantities that they are now traded as investment gold coins.
Gold lire coins are minted from a robust 900 gold alloy. They were minted as gold coins in denominations of 5 lire, 10 lire, 20 lire, 50 lire, 80 lire and 100 lire.
